Rob and Rosemary Nelson

Rob and Rosemary Nelson have been house parents at the Rockhill Cottage in The Rock, Georgia since 1989. Rob has a degree in Psychology and Social Work and worked in the furniture business before coming to work for WinShape Homes. Rosemary has a degree in Elementary Education and was a Special Education teacher prior to coming to work for WinShape. Rob and Rosemary have two biological sons and have worked with over 30 foster children in their home over the years. The foster children who graduated from high school while living in their home continue to succeed, living independently in college, the workforce, and some are married. As adults they, along with their children, 14 and counting, continue to be an active part of the extended Nelson family at Rockhill. |

Doug and Julie Bowling have been house parents at Woodbury Cottage in Rome, Georgia since 1989. Before coming to WinShape, Doug and Julie worked as house parents at the Tennessee School for the Deaf. They both attended the University of Tennessee where Doug received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Doug and Julie have four biological children. They have raised nearly 40 foster children. They continue to maintain relationships with many of their grown foster children who are now living independently. They have had many graduate from college, join the service, get married, have children, and live very successful happy lives. |

Robin
and Wally Wallace

Wally and Robin Wallace became house parents in 1996 in Stockbridge, Georgia at the Ramon Gann Home. Wally worked as a youth minister before coming to WinShape. The couple worked as relief house parents with other WinShape Homes for about a year before moving into their home. Wally and Robin are continually going on church retreats with their children or hosting church events at home. They are very involved in school and work activities. They have worked with over 30 children throughout the years, and many of those children are in college or living independently and still consider Ramon Gann their home. |

Paul and Christy Wilson have been the house parents at the Wiley House in Wadley, Alabama since 1996. Before coming to WinShape, Paul was a youth minister in Nashville, Tennessee and Christy was working at a dental office. Paul has a Bachelor of Science degree from Belmont University, a Masters degree from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and he has completed all of the course work for his Doctorate in Counseling from Trinity Seminary. Christy has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Alabama and she has completed all of the classes for her Masters in Counseling from Trinity Seminary. Over the years, the Wilson’s have worked with over 20 privately placed foster children. Several of their foster children are now in college and consider the Wylie Home their home. |

P.J. and Leslie Hitchcock

P.J. and Leslie Hitchcock have been house parents at the Harrell Home in Griffin, Georgia since 1999. Leslie grew up in the Rockhill Home in The Rock, Georgia. After graduating from high school and leaving Rockhill, she met and married P.J. who worked for Home Depot. They then felt the calling to work with WinShape themselves. Through the last few years, P.J. and Leslie have worked with 10 children and enjoy helping each child achieve their potential at home, church, and school. |

Richard and Amy Frierson came to WinShape at Bridgeway in Athens, Georgia in 1997. Prior to coming to Bridgeway, Richard and Amy both graduated from Berry College in Rome, Georgia - Richard with a degree in Political Science and Amy with a degree in Middle School Education. Richard and Amy began their work with WinShape with seven foster children. Since that time, they have raised 26 foster children alongside their three biological children. In addition, the Frierson’s are now experiencing a new era of their work in which many of their foster children have progressed to college, marriage, and having families of their own. |

Anthony and Marjorie Daniel

Anthony and Marjorie Daniell became the houseparents of Golden Pond in Cleveland Tennessee in March of 2008. Anthony and Marjorie are both graduates of Berry College. Marjorie was a WinShape scholar and a sociology major. Anthony was a cross country MVP and a chemistry major. Before coming to WinShape, Marjorie was raising their two biological children and Anthony was a research and analytical chemist in Dalton, GA. They served as relief parents for six years at Woodbury Cottage. They currently have 7 foster children in their home. |

| Richard and Stephanye Yadkowski have been house parents at the Kimbell Cottage in Rome, Georgia since 2007. They both have college degrees from Wingate University; Richard has a B.S. in Business Administration, and Stephanye has a B.A. in Human Services. They have three biological children. They have a passion to care for children. Richard grew up in the Woodbury Cottage with the Bowling's and has been part of the WinShape family nearly since its beginning. Richard and Stephanye have prior experience working with the Department of Family and Children Services while they were doing relief parenting work for WinShape’s Bowling family. They come to us from Chick-fil-A where Richard was an operator and Stephanye was the marketing director |

Sonny
and Deenie Brooks

Sonny and Deenie Brooks have been house parents at the Herrington Home at The Rock, Georgia since 1995. Prior to coming to work as house parents, Deenie was the administrative assistant at the Rock Ranch and Sonny worked at his father’s wrecker service. Sonny and Deenie have two biological sons and have worked with over 40 foster children throughout the years. The family enjoys spending time camping, horseback riding, and participating in rodeos. Sonny is also able to teach the boys how to work on cars which is a hobby they all enjoy. They now have grown foster children who live independently but continue to maintain relationships with the Brooks’. |

| Jonathan and Wendy Whitley became house parents at the Skelton Home in Rome, Georgia in 2002. Wendy has a degree in education and was a teacher for several years before becoming a house parent. Jonathan was a pharmaceutical sales representative when the couple starting doing relief house parenting for one of the other WinShape Homes. Both were church youth directors for four years prior to coming on board with WinShape Homes. Jonathan and Wendy have three biological children and have worked with 15 foster children since they have lived at the Skelton Home. |

Brenda and Harry

Harry and Brenda Brown have been WinShape house parents since 1989, first at Kimbell Cottage in Rome, Georgia until July 2007 and now at Swan Lake in Cleveland, Tennessee. Prior to coming to WinShape, the couple served as house parents for another agency for three years. Before becoming house parents, Harry worked for Southern Bell in Atlanta for 24 years and Brenda worked with children at a daycare facility. Harry served in the Army for four years and they were stationed in Germany. Harry and Brenda have one grown biological son who is married with children. They also have an adopted daughter. Harry and Brenda have worked with over 200 foster children through the years, 35 of whom have been through WinShape. They currently have nine grown children who are either in college or living independently but still call Kimbell Cottage their home. |
