WinShape
Homes was founded in 1987 by S. Truett Cathy to provide a loving, nurturing home
to those children who are victims of circumstance and need a stable, secure
family environment in which to grow and mature. WinShape Homes accepts boys and
girls, ages 6 to 13 regardless of race, culture, or religion. There are eleven
WinShape Homes – eight in Georgia, one in Alabama and two in Tennessee. Each home is licensed to accommodate up to 12 children and employ full
time house parents. WinShape Homes gives large sibling groups an opportunity to
live together in the same home.WinShape Homes extends open arms to grandparents or guardians who can no longer provide for the children in their care, as well as two people who know of situations where children need a stable home environment. The
homes encourage the children’s participation in extra curricular activities and
provide services to meet the children’s physical, spiritual, and emotional
needs. WinShape Homes is unique in its encouragement and provision of the
